At B&K Dachshunds, we are committed to breeding healthy, happy puppies that make great family pets. Our breeding program is designed to produce puppies with excellent temperaments and conformation to the breed standard.

Your puppy will have had all necessary vaccinations and deworming at the time of shipping or delivery and will have been examined by a licensed veterinarian prior to shipping or delivery. B&K Dachshunds guarantees to the best of their knowledge that they are selling you, the buyer a healthy puppy. 

During shipping puppies can become stressed by changed in environment. Minor problems such as diarrhea, coccidiosis, upper respiratory, kennel cough, etc. may occur and must be treated. These conditions are the responsibility of you, the buyer, not the seller and should be checked by a licensed veterinarian. These and other minor health problems are not covered by this guarantee. Any minor problems that can be cured by medication is not covered by this guarantee. Any existing conditions listed in advance will not be covered by this guarantee. This guarantee does not include any injuries or problems the puppy develops due to neglect or abuse by the new owner. The puppy is not guaranteed against hypoglycemia, which is also called low blood sugar or sugar chock. Luxating patellas are not covered by this guarantee. 

Your puppy is guaranteed until 1 year of age against fatal and life-threatening genetic disorders. This includes hip dysplasia, heart, liver, respiratory, and knees. In the unlikely event that this occurs, B&K Dachshunds must be notified within 48 hours of the licensed veterinarian's determination, by phone. At the buyer's expense, B&K Dachshunds will need copies of x-rays. There are certain disorders that may be caused by environmental conditions, for example: allergies, thyroid dysfunction, demodectic mange and autoimmune disorders, which are not covered by this guarantee.

A returned puppy must be returned to the seller, B&K Dachshunds, in good condition, other than the specific problem. In the unlikely event that the puppy should die within 1 year time frame, you the buyer, must pay to have the puppy autopsied, to show the reason of death. The autopsy must show, without a doubt, the cause of death was a genetic problem, for a replacement puppy. B&K Dachshunds does not give refunds. The replacement puppy may or may not have the same parents. No puppy replacement will be given if the puppy has been euthanized, spayed or neutered, without permission from the seller. Any physical problem that could occur from an injury to the puppy is not covered by this guarantee. You, they buyer, are responsible for the transportation costs to and from the seller on replacement puppy. This guarantee only applies to the original owners of the puppy and is not transferrable. If the puppy is sold to another party before 1 year of age, this guarantee is void. If there are any disputes or legal matters having dur with this sale, they must be resolved in Adair County, Oklahoma.
